Click the Football Shaped Coin 
This coin was minted by Charles Spurgeon, probably the most influential English preacher of all time. He gave it as a token to remind people of the main task of the church and the preacher. I include here for the same reason. The core of all good preaching is Christ and him crucified.
The coin shows Moses standing before the uplifted serpent. For the background, see John 3:14-16 and Numbers 21:7-9.
Please check back, because I’ll be giving background info, extra material, and stuff that didn’t make it into the sermon. I’ll also give some back story to why the sermon was shaped the way it is, and maybe even some extra technical details from Hebrew, Greek, and theology that didn’t make the sermon.
